An artist, a restaurant enthusiast, and a lefty with good table manners.
I’m Lili Phung—a 22-year-old artist, writer, and restaurant enthusiast based in Orange County, California.
My upbringing as the only daughter of Australian and Vietnamese immigrants coupled with my Southern California roots deeply informs my work and personal life. As a child, I often ended nights by swapping a stylish outfit for pajamas and falling asleep in the booth of a fancy restaurant while my parents lingered over dinner. This says a lot about who I grew up to be.
My primary passions are doing dissertation-level research about where to eat for any given meal, sourcing another pair of authentic vintage cowboy boots (seven and counting), and exploring color theory with my trusty Prismacolor pencils.
I’m a first-generation college graduate with a JBA in strategic communication and minors in gender & women’s studies and art history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My professional background is in media-related areas such as public relations, social media, marketing & communications, and events.
